Ranking Golf Betting Tipsters

The aim of this page is simple. Find and compare the best online golf betting tipsters. I’ve ranked the golf tipsters by overall profit. After all, when we follow a tipster our main goal is to make money. The more we can win the better.

The overall profit factors in any monthly subscriptions that paid golf tipsters charge. This is why the profit/loss on this page may be different to what the tipsters promote on their website.

I can only work with the results that the golf tipsters display. I’ve not tracked them myself, that would be impossibe. Some of the ones listed above have incomplete results. Ben Coley is an example. Often regarded as the best online golf tipster, his results from 2010-2015 are missing on the Sportinglife website. So he could easily be the most profitable golf tipster, but without those results to double check, I can’t put him 1st.

Profit adjusted for Staking Plans

Some tipsters profits have been adjusted due to their staking plan. You can’t simply compare all tipsters on a £10 per point basis. That’s because some golf tipsters often tip 5pts EW (10pts) whilst others will rarely tip over 1pt EW.

I’ve simplified it. If a golf tipster normally works on a 1-5pt tipping scale then results are based on £10 per point. For tipsters who work on a 1-10pt tipping scale for most of their tips, a £5 per point calculation is used. I believe this gives a fair comparison of which are the most profitable to follow.

I hope to add a user review function so that punters can leave feedback on the golf tipsters listed on this site. I’m well aware that not all tipsters can be trusted, but it’s not for me to comment at the moment, without having followed them for a period of time.

My aim is to keep this page updated and if any new golf tipsters pop up, I will add them to the list. There are some familiar names missing from these rankings. The likes of Steve Palmer, Jeremy Chapman and Steve Rawlings to name a few. Whilst they offer golf tips on a regular basis, the problem is they don’t have history of their results. In my opinion if you don’t track your results, you are not a real tipster. It’s lazy and doesn’t allow us punters to make an informed decision as to whether they are worth following or not.
