  • Over aggressive staking plan

Golf Betting Expert (Craig) has been offering golf betting tips since the start of 2016.  He spent 3 years offering paid tips on the Betting Gods platform. He can boast over £10,000 in profit across his 4 seasons of tipping. Craig has now gone solo and is offering his golf tips via his own website.

The overall profit is impressive and the full list of results is available for punters to check out on the new website. When I took a closer look at the results it became evident that the majority of the profit was from 2016 and 2017.

Recent Results

2018 and 2019 were disappointing seasons for Golf Betting Expert. Had you paying £20 a month and investing £10 per point, you would have only broken even across those two seasons. To be fair 2019 was a tough year for a number of the top tipsters. Steve Palmer and Ben Coley both had shockers. So whilst you expect to make money following a paid tipster, breaking even is better than losing money.

I also noticed the staking plan was aggressive. In the 2020 Genesis Invitational, Craig put up 3 separate 6 Point tips. That is ambitious and given all 3 lost that would have set you back £180 had you been following at £10 a point. That’s quite a lot to lose on 3 bets. I did speak personally with Craig and he stated it’s his intention to reduce the stakes going forward, which I think is a wise move.

Golf Betting Expert has his tips independently verified by both the Smart Betting Club and Honest Betting Reviews. This brings an element of trust and reassures you as a punter that the results posted on the site are genuine. Trust me, there are a lot of tipsters out there making up their profits.

At £20 a month, and with lots of competition when it comes to golf tipsters, I think Craig has a point to prove over the next 6-18 months. If he can rediscover his form, that brought him success back in 2016/17, then he will definitely be one to follow.
