Wanidu Hasaranga Top SL bowler 1.5pts – 5.0 @ Paddy Power
Wanidu Hasaranga Man of the Match 0.5pts – 26.0 @ Paddy Power
He bowled brilliantly in game 1 to take 3/12 to make it 19 in 14 at 16 each in T20Is. 4/1 is still too big, as he is 5/2 in places.
MoM is a bit of a punt but we know it will be on the same wicket and we know it is turning, and I was not impressed by the way WI handled that chase, they were not taking it seriously. Holder was dropped in single figures, had that been taken it would have been 107/7 with just the tail to come.
SL were 71/1 after 9.5 overs, they should have got 160 form there, and that would have been a very different game. WI’s strength is their batting but they are all high risk players their bowling isnt all that, so if they dont fire SL will have a chance.
Wanidu Hasaranga is also a very handy bat, should come in at 7, he strikes at nearly 137 in T20s domestically averaging 20 with a couple of 50s, and is probably better than that as he averages 40 in FC cricket.
