Starting today and the 6 pm kick-off from the Hawthorns. West Brom may have picked up some points in recent games but the win over Brighton was farcical and they were completed outplayed. It’s not often you’ll see a team miss two penalties in one match.
West Brom are 1-2-5 in their last 8 at home and are still 9 points from safety. They face an Everton team who will leapfrog into the Top 4 with a win here, albeit only for a few hours if there is a winner at Anfield later in the evening.
Everton have recorded back-to-back wins and clean sheets against Liverpool and Southampton. Their away record this season is fantastic at 8-2-2. They have won 5 and drawn 1 of their last 6 away games. The only dropped points being that dramatic 3-3 draw at Old Trafford.
When these two sides met at Goodison Park earlier in the season, Everton romped to a 5-2 win. Mina is likely to miss out and Rodriguez is still doubtful but Ancelotti will still be able to name a strong side here. The away win looks the obvious play.
