Yasir Shah top Pakistan bowler (2nd innings), 2/1 @ Ladbrokes, 2 points
George Linde top South Africa batsman (2nd innings), 20/1 @ William Hill, 0.5 points
The ball is already spinning, has been from day 1 so Yasir will be the main threat for Pakistan. The other spinner for Pakistan is a 34-year-old debutant, so it’s a lot to ask for him to rival a really strong test spinner like Yasir.
Pakistan spinners avg speed and spin today:
Nauman Ali: 88.4 kph – 2.8°
Yasir Shah: 82.7 kph – 4.1°#PAKvSA— The CricViz Analyst (@cricvizanalyst) January 26, 2021
Linde was 2nd top scorer for South Africa, so he can handle the conditions. He’ll bat 7, so he could be in with the tail but Maharaj, in particular, can hang around. He averages 30 in first-class cricket so he’s no mug with the bat, I think they’ve under-estimated his ability with the bat slightly here.
The top order all kind of got in and got out in the 1st innings, the pitch will become more up and down so we might so more middling scores so it might not take much to win this market.
