Jyhe Richardson over 20.5 performance points 1.8pts – 5/6 @ bet365
Jyhe has 12 wickets in 12 games, he should top and tail the innings when batsman are going hard and is an improving cricketer so I expect those stats to improve. He’s long odds on to take a wicket, which would net him 20 points.
He’s down to bat 8, so it’s not like he’s a number 11 who can barely lay bat on ball who we’re trying to sneak a run from. He’s been used as a pinch hitter in the surge period in the big bash, and is a powerful hitter at the death. He’s yet to show much with the bat for Australia, but the ability is there. I’d say he’ll pass this line with the bat alone at some stage in his T20O career.
He’s a good young athlete, can move across the ground well and is a safe pair of hands. 9 catches in 12 games shows he can defintely contribute in the field.
He averages 29.83 in T20I’s, his line has been close to that this series so 20.5 looks too low.
