Will Young Top New Zealand batsman 2pts – 7.0 @ Paddy Power
Joe Root to score 100 2pts – 7.0 @ Ladbrokes
Trent Boult 5+ wickets 2pts – 8.0 @ Ladbrokes
Craig Overton top England bowler 2pts – 5.5 @ SkyBet
Will Young has been playing in these conditions for Durham, and made 2x100s in 4 games, without Williamson this is an open market. Latham is a good bat but opening and capt is hard work, not many have done it with any success, Conway is in good form but it’s rare to double up at this level. Taylor has looked v out of form, and Nicholls has never really done it away from home, averaging just 26. I would have him maybe 5.0
I have to go Root again, especially as NZL have said they are going to rotate their bowlers yes that means Boult but it also may mean no Wagner and or Jamieson. He looked it great nick in the last game and was unlucky to get a peace 1st ball d2.
Boult is priced on there being a full bowling attack. I would not put anyone off him, top bowler, at 3.5. But in 8 innings in England, he has 2×5 and 1×4 throw in the expected changes and that adds further value.
I wasn’t too far away with Robinson MoM but should have had him, top bowler, at 5.5, not making that mistake twice. He has 3+ in 4 of his 6 innings domestically this year and 36 wickets in 11 innings in total. Also, talk of one of Broad or Anderson sitting out.
