Ranking Golf Betting Tipsters

Golf Betting Tipsters are very popular. It might actually be the most competitive tipster market out there. Finding which golf betting tipsters are the best ones to follow is easier said than done.

Here at BKTips I plan to make your job easier by ranking the best golf tipsters and offering a review of their service. I won’t be updating these rankings that often, so just bear that in mind. If a golf tipster lands a 250/1 winner one week, it’s going to make a big difference to their overall profit and loss.

When betting on golf my advice is to find 1, perhaps 2 golf betting tipsters that you like and follow them. If you start following too many and a few surprise winners happen, then could quickly build up some big losses.

How do I Rank Golf Betting Tipsters?

There are a number of factors which I combine to rank the golf tipsters. My final decision comes down to personal preference and who I would recommend if a mate asked me who the best golf betting tipster to follow was. So it’s not just about profit. The reason for that is profit can be misleading. A tipster risking 5 points (up to £50 bet) compared to one risking 1 point a bet, is obviously going to be promoting a bigger profit.

You also need to consider recent results. If a tipster has been active for 10 years they could be £10,000 in profit, but actually lost money over the last 2 or 3 seasons. So don’t just see that big profit and assume you are going to win. Tipsters can lose motivation and stop caring, with that can come poor results.

I’ve factored in whether the tipsters are FREE or if they charge for their golf tips. How long they have been tipping is important. Some of the tipsters I have featured on this site don’t track their results, which makes it difficult to compare them with others. But I have included some golf betting tipsters in this list based on reputation and feedback from punters.

Why do I not display stats?

A golf tipsters stats can change massively in one week. At the start of 2020 Ben Coley landed a 250/1 winner. That made a massive impact to his overall profit. If I was to proof tipsters it would be a full time job and wouldn’t allow me to work on other aspects of this site.

Most of the golf betting tipsters featured on this page will track their own results and keep them up to date. The best ones will get a third party side to check them, this ensures there is no funny business going on with the overall profit.

I can only make recommendations, it’s down to you as the punter to find which golf tipster you want to follow. You might want to mix it up and try one for a month or two and see how you get on. There is no harm in switching from one to another. Most of the tipsters I’ve ranked should at least help you break even.
